Monastic & Contemplative Mondays:  All members of Saint Paul’s Parish are invited to participate in the on-going discernment of a monastic community here, as well as discussions on contemplative and centering-prayer.  Join us for corporate worship, fellowship, and a delicious pot-luck dinner!  Please invite anyone you know with an interest in the monastic life or contemplative prayer.  Our primary texts are:  The Rules of Saint Benedict and the Communities of Jerusalem, and the book The Cloud of Unknowing.  Our evenings end with 20 minutes of silent prayer in church, concluding with the beautiful and simple Office of Compline.  Contact Michael Alsup with any questions;  jmichaelalsup@aol.com.

• 6:30 PM, Readings from the Rules, Pot-Luck Dinner, Dining Hall
• 7:15 PM, Discussions on Contemplative & Silent Prayer, Common Room
