Street Parking On Saturdays and Sundays you may park on K Street in front of the church, or on the streets immediately surrounding. Parking often is available on I Street between 24th and 26th, on 25th Street between H and K, on 24th Street between I and K, and on 26th Street between I and K. (See map). During the week, many streets are no-parking zones until 6:30 p.m. Look for and read carefully all neighborhood parking signs!

Off-Street Parking The parking lot is behind the church, and is accessed by proceeding north on 25th Street to Snows Court, which is midway between I and K Streets. Turn right into Snows Court (the only alley between I and K Streets). At the end of the alley, turn left and proceed about 50 feet to the lot. Parking in the church lot is on a first-come, first-served basis, and we encourage regular parishioners to consider street parking or the Ritz Carlton garage (see below) so that the lot may be used primarily for visitors, those with limited mobility or special needs, and mothers with small children. Please note that the red brick portions of the alley belong to the city and are designated as Fire Lanes.  Vehicles parked on the red brick may be ticketed by the Metropolitan Police.

During the week, parking is by permit only. If you are a parishioner or regular vendor and wish to apply for a parking permit, please use this form to request a permit. 

Garage Parking The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at 1150 22nd Street NW offers discounted parking to those attending St. Paul’s on Sundays and is about a five minute walk from the church. The cost is $5.00 for up to 6 hours of parking on Sundays. Vouchers may be purchased from the St. Paul’s greeters or parking lot attendants on Sundays and from the Parish Administrator, Melva Willis, on weekdays or via mail. To get to the garage from the church lot, turn right out of Snows Court onto 25th Street, then right onto the K Street access road in front of the church.  Turn left at the light onto 24th Street, then right on L Street and finally left onto 22nd Street, turning left into the first driveway you come to, which is the entrance to the parking garage.  At the garage, push the button to receive a ticket to enter the garage.  When it is time to exit you will need both the ticket from the garage and the voucher.  Put the ticket into the machine and then the voucher.  If you have parked for 6 hours or less, the voucher will cover the full cost and you can exit the garage.  Should you need to stay at the garage for more than 6 hours, you will need the voucher plus an additional $2.00 in cash.
