Walsingham Pilgrimage 2009
The April 20 - May 1, 2009, Pilgrimage to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, led by Fr. Nathan Humphrey, was the fifth Pilgrimage by St. Paul’s Parish, following Pilgrimages of June 2001, May 2003, April 2005, and April 2007. Each Pilgrim will testify that it was a personally rewarding and significant religious experience. In addition to the Pilgrimage to Walsingham in April 2009 there were visits to Cambridge and London.
Daily Itinerary
- APR 20 Depart Washington DC-Dulles to London, England, overnight flight.
- APR 21 Arrive London Heathrow early morning; transportation by coach to Cambridge. Check in Hotel Du Vin. EVEN SONG: St John’s or Kings College. Welcome Wine & Cheese Reception.
- APR 22 Cambridge MASS and visits to Little and Greater St. Mary’s, EVENSONG, ST JOHN’S or KING’S COLLEGE.
- APR 23 Cambridge; MORNING PRAYER & TOUR OF FERRER HOUSE, LITTLE GIDDING. VIST TO ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST, BURY ST EDMUNDS,
- APR 24 Depart Cambridge by coach for the journey to Walsingham. STOP AT ELY CATHEDRAL ON ROUTE. First visit to the Holy House of Our Lady of Walsingham.
- APR 25 Walsingham. Pilgrimage schedule. Afternoon excursion.
- APR 26 Walsingham; Mass at St Mary’s Parish. Pilgrimage schedule.
- APR 27 Walsingham; Pilgrimage schedule.TOUR TO SANDRINGHAM ESTATE..
- APR 28 Depart Walsingham by coach to London. Arrive London afternoon and check in Millennium Knightsbridge Hotel. Tour of St. Paul’s Knightsbridge.
- APR 29 London; VISIT TO SALISBURY CATHEDRAL
- APR 30 London EVEN SONG, ST PAUL’S CATHEDRA; Farewell Dinner.
- MAY 01 Transportation from hotel to London Heathrow for return flight to USA.
